Posting to Public Areas of See Me CV
Please remember that if you post any of your personal information in public areas of See Me CV, such as in online forums or chat rooms, or in the searchable CV database, such information may be collected and used by others over whom See Me CV has no control. The functions performed on our behalf include hosting our web servers, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. These companies and individuals will have access to your personal information as necessary to perform their functions, but they may not share that information with any other third party or use that data for any other purpose. We will retain control of and be responsible for any information shared in this way.

CVs
Since See Me CV is a career site, we give you the option of putting your CV and CV Video in our database.
We attempt to limit access to our searchable CV and CV Video database (or copies thereof) only to paying Employers, hiring managers and human resource professionals, as well as law enforcement and national security agencies, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We are not responsible for the use made of CVs and CV Videos by third parties who access such CVs and CV Videos while they are in our searchable database. You may remove your CV and CV Video from our searchable database at any time; details of how to do this are given below. However, Employers and others who have paid for access to that database or to obtain a copy of that database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database may have retained a copy of your CV (but not your CV Video) in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of CVs or profiles in these instances.
Use of Web Beacons/JavaScript
See Me CV web pages may contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) that allow us to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. Web beacons are not used to access your personally identifiable information on See Me CV; they are a technique we use to compile aggregated statistics about our web site usage.
Web beacons collect only a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the web beacon resides.
Because web beacons are the same as any other content request included in the recipe page, you cannot opt out or refuse them. See Me CV also may use JavaScript. JavaScript is a script language that enhances the functionality of websites, particularly in respect to pictures. We are not collecting any personal data via JavaScript but use it to inform Employers about the conversion rate of their job ads (.i.e. how many applicants have clicked on embedded email addresses). You may deactivate JavaScript via your browser settings or activate it the same way. If you disable JavaScript you will not be able to use some of the functions of the website.
Updating or Deleting Your Information
You may review, correct, update or change your See Me CV account profile information, CV or CV Video at any time. Simply log into your See Me CV account, go to your Account Profile or CV, review your account information or CV and, if you wish, edit it with the options provided. You may also delete your CV and CV Video through this method. If you wish to delete your See Me CV account profile information at any time, please contact us at candidatesupport@seemecv.com. An email will be sent to you to confirm that your information has been deleted (save for an archival copy which is not accessible by you or third parties on the Internet). The archival copy is retained indefinitely for audit and record purposes.
If you wish to revoke your consent to our Privacy Statement, please contact us at info@seemecv.com. However, please note that if you do withdraw your consent, you may not be able to use the relevant services and your See Me CV account profile information will be deleted.
If you opted to receive newsletters, commercial e-mails or other communications from See Me CV or third parties at the time you registered with See Me CV, but subsequently change your mind, you may opt-out by editing your Account Profile as described above. If you previously opted not to receive such communications, you may later opt-in by editing your Account Profile.
You may access all your personal data stored and processed by See Me CV and may correct, update or delete such information by contacting us at info@seemecv.com.
Since we believe that managing your career is a life-long process, we retain all the information we gather about you in an effort to make your repeat use with us more efficient, practical and relevant until you change or remove your personal data as detailed above. If you are a job seeker and have not logged onto the web site for 18 months, then we will automatically make your CV and CV Video unsearchable. Of course, you can correct or update your See Me CV account profile and CV or CV Video at any time. Moreover, you can delete your CV and CV Video from See Me CV's online database or close your See Me CV account at any time. If you do this, we will remove all our copies of your CV and CV Video or See Me CV account profile information except for an archival copy retained indefinitely for audit and records purposes which is not accessible by you or third parties on the Internet. Security
See Me CV has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. In particular, all account and password data is encrypted (i.e. it is scrambled between your computer and See Me CVs’ servers) and all traffic which is internal to the See Me CV network (such as billing information and See Me CV’s access to our database) is also encrypted. Notwithstanding such measures, the Internet is an open system and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You should be aware that CV’s you complete at your current place of work may be monitored by your current employer.
When you place an order online at See Me CV, your credit card information is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") protocol. Use of Cookies Statement
See Me CV uses "cookies" to help personalise and maximise your online experience and time online.
